Enertronica Santerno S.p.A. (“Enertronica Santerno” or “Company”), company listed on the AIM Italia, multilateral trading system organized and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A. (“AIM Italia”), announces that it has signed an agreement for the supply of 190 MW of photovoltaic inverters that will be designed, delivered and installed for the realization of a photovoltaic project in Colombia.
With the signing of this supply contract Enertronica Santerno asserts itself as the leader in the Latin American market in relation to the supply of photovoltaic inverters. The totality of the inverters installed in LATAM exceeds, with this contract, 1.4 GW to which are added multi-year service contracts for a similar size. The contract signed today is particularly important because it adds Colombia to Latin American countries such as Brazil, Chile and Panama where the Group already had a leading position. The Colombian market presents important growth trends in the renewable energy sector and with this contract Enertronica Santerno is a candidate to be one of the main operators in the country.
The total value of the supply, signed with the main world operator in the sector, is approximately 9 million dollars. The supply activities will be mainly concentrated during 2021 and, therefore, the economic effects of the contract on the year 2020 will not be particularly significant.
